The best video I've seen in maybe my whole life, you know its good when you wish to death you made it. Is it the end of a relationship? Did she die?? Life is beautiful, this song makes me want to go out and roam the streets of NYC and stop by the Natural History Museum on a date with a girl I love. The emotion and beauty in this video are overwhelmingly heart wrenching and inspiring, only to be let down by life when you know your life can never be this beautiful, unless.....

Quick Bio Excerpts From WIKI
In the winter of 2007, Aitken's Sleepwalkers was presented at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The project includes the actors Donald Sutherland and Tilda Swinton, musicians Seu Jorge and Cat Power, and actor/street drummer Ryan Donowho. Five interlocking vignettes shown through EIGHT PROJECTIONS were displayed upon the exterior walls of the museum so as to be visible from the street.
In 2008, Aitken produced another large scale outdoor film installation, titled "Migration". The work features wild animals of North America curiously inhabiting a human realm - neat, empty hotel rooms.

In an interview on his website about "SLEEPWALKERS,"
Doug Aitken reveals he wanted to have his show outside, for the public. that the walls in the museum almost frame the work and tell you what to look at. He wanted to have the images be part of the architecture, part of the city, part of the public. He shows it outside, making the common passerby look and see, not go inside the museum expecting to see art, but to just stumble upon it.

Fuck Hit And Run Drivers
So this whole rental car saga is fucked. My mom hit my car last time I was home, so I brought my car into the shop up here. AAA got me a rental car. The fucks at Enterprise give me a Mitsubishi Raider Truck! with less than a quarter tank of gas! So I drive it for a day, and waste $35 dollars I don't have on gas for this pile. Then, AAA calls me and asks me how my service at Enterprise was. So I tell them it was shit, they call Enterprise, they call me and apologize, then I get to go back and get a car with a full tank of gas. A Red KIA! Damn, so sick. Then I drive that piece to meet up with Brian at Green Door. We chill and drink or whatever in Hollywood, then I go to pick up my friend at 7-11, and this huge Red Suburban fully backs into me, I tried to move out of the way, but he clipped the whole drivers side pretty badly. He almost hit Dewey, my homie too! I get out of the car and he takes the fuck off! It's like 1:45 AM at this point. All the security and homeless people are like "Go GET HIM." I take off with Brian and homeless people are yelling "LEFT" "RIGHT" hooking us up telling us where this guy went. I fucking catch up to him. And call 911 so I can get a police report or something.
Fuck, but I didn't think about how buzzed I was. We stay on the phone with dispatch driving all over and they finally catch him and I pull over too. They pull the guy out of the car. Theres like 4 cop cars. Then, they come talk to me, ask me "have you had anything to drink", I say no 2 times, then on the 3rd time I say I had one beer, what an idiot. Then he does the pen DUI test and I pass that somehow, and I have this bright idea to tell them we were parked at 7-11 not driving. But I'm pretty sure the cameras at 7-11 can show what really happened or if CSI fucking investigates they'll see that the damage might not be possible if I was parked on the opposite side of this guy. anyway, they couldn't find any ID on the guy or figure out whos car it was. Which, I'm pretty sure means I'm fucked. I don't know if this rental has insurance on it for damage. FUCK!
UPDATE: The rental is covered exactly the same as my own car is, since AAA is paying for it.

Lost in Translation
I'm pretty sure I'm Bill Murray in Lost In Translation. Uncertain of what you're doing and why. Realizing you could be doing something so much better but not having the will to do it. You aren't happy with what's waiting for you back at home, no job, no money, etc.. for me. the life you've made for yourself might not be the one you were meant to live.

I'm pretty sure i'm Scarlett Johannson from Lost in Translation. Figuring out the next step. Uncertain of who you REALLY are, regardless of worrying about who you need to be to succeed and live in todayland. Sitting there, staring out at the city and life, that just remain Still. If I sit here all day, the room will not change physically, the most depressing thing is life keeps going when I'm not ready for it too. I turn my phone on silence, but still want to know who called me while I was asleep. I have to exit the hotel and make a life for myself. I'm not doing a very good job of it so far. I want to wonder the town, I want to explore and figure out things, the way life works and the reason we are here.
I've imagined myself as these two, many times. When you're on vacation or at a hotel, you really listen to the other person. I have met strangers that become friends at hotels, you only really listen to what a ONE person says, when they are your only friend for hundreds of miles.
The end. it inspires me to go out. to live life. to have fun. to experience greatness and sadness. to live among the undead. to love you all and to feel what life is really about. finding that one person
