Kanye West - 808's & Heartbreaks (Entire album streaming below)

Kanye West is back, all grown up and more emo, but with more knowledge of love and loss. Not so much about shutter shades and flashing lights, this album is about a man who has just lost his mother and looking to make sense of it all. Even though he's still looking for love, Kanye takes his time through every song, making his points and letting us all know hes back, and his sound is once again ahead of the game, even though the voice enhancer thing he uses isn't new, it hasn't been used in such a mature way for a while, if ever. Lets not waste time trying to categorize this album, so what if it is a hip hop Phil Collins album, Kanye takes us to a dark place in the dead of night, racing down a back road in a black lamborghini, no ice, no bling, just a man dealing with his own genius and the ins and outs of life. Sad and angry at moments, Kanye isn't alone, he has his music. I imagine this is Kanye's way of dealing with life, this album is his best yet. There are moments of light though, Kanye shines through (like a diamond) with some fucking jams, that get you psyched to go out and live, and not take this life for granted.
