I was never into wrestling, ever. my friend Nick Robinson, who lived up the street from my parents house on Crest, was really into it. Somebody told me early on that it was fake, so I really didn't give a shit. Ric Flair was one of the biggest wrestlers in the world I'm told: this is amazing. this guy wreaks of sex appeal.

Do these videos represent a time when America was dumber?? I don't know. I think it represents a time when americans wanted to be entertained and had fun, when they didn't work their asses of and still have no money, when the "American Dream" was still attainable. When our economy wasn't a joke, when families would take family trips and actually talk to each other, now Dad's on his cell phone making deals, Mom's talking to her girlfriends about how rude her kids are, son and daughter are texting and listening to iPods in the back seat.
